'Personal information' or 'personal data' means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with an individual. Please read this notice carefully.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer service.
  • To deliver content and service offerings relevant to your interests.
  • To improve and optimize our website and marketing materials.

4. Website Search Bar — Keyword and Resource Lookup

Our website includes a search bar that allows visitors to search for keywords, resources, and content across our web pages. Regarding search data:

  • Search terms you enter are used primarily to search our website's content and return relevant results to you.
  • We do not use search terms to build individual user profiles or to identify you personally, and we do not sell individual search query data to third parties.
  • We may review search terms in aggregate to identify content gaps and improve our website. This analysis is statistical in nature.
  • Please be aware that our analytics tools (described in Section 5) may capture page URLs, which can include search parameters. Our use of those tools is described separately below.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website. These technologies help us understand how visitors use our site, measure marketing campaign performance, and support our business development activities. Below is a description of the specific tools we use.

HubSpot

We use HubSpot as our customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platform. HubSpot tools active on our website include:

  • HubSpot Analytics: measures website traffic, visitor behavior, and marketing campaign performance.
  • HubSpot Forms: collects contact information submitted through our website forms and routes it into our CRM.
  • HubSpot Web Interactives: powers interactive content such as quizzes, calculators, and engagement tools embedded on our site.
  • HubSpot Ads: connects our ad platforms (including Google Ads and LinkedIn) to our CRM to measure ad ROI and support audience targeting.

Information collected by HubSpot may include IP addresses, browser and device data, pages viewed, form submissions, and marketing engagement events. HubSpot processes this data as a service provider on our behalf. For more information, see HubSpot's Privacy Policy at https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Google Tools

We use the following Google technologies on our website:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): collects data about website traffic and user interactions to help us understand site performance. GA4 uses cookies and may collect IP addresses, device data, and behavioral data.
  • Global Site Tag (gtag.js): Google's primary tag management script used to deploy GA4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Google Conversion Linker from a single tag.
  • Google Conversion Linker: detects ad click information in page URLs and stores it in cookies to associate ad clicks with conversions.
  • Google Ads Conversion Tracking: measures actions visitors take after clicking our ads (such as form completions or page visits) to evaluate ad campaign performance.

Google processes data collected by these tools in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US. Users may opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You may also manage Google advertising preferences at https://adssettings.google.com.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our website. This tool enables in-depth campaign reporting, conversion tracking, and audience measurement for our LinkedIn advertising. The LinkedIn Insight Tag may collect data including IP addresses, device and browser characteristics, page URLs, and information about LinkedIn members who visit our site if they are logged into LinkedIn. For more information, see LinkedIn's Privacy Policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. LinkedIn members can opt out of the LinkedIn Insight Tag at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.

Advertising and Remarketing Disclosure

Some of the tools described herein - including HubSpot Ads, Google Ads conversion tracking, and LinkedIn Insights — may support audience building, remarketing, and ad targeting based on prior visits to our website. If you have previously visited our site and later see ads for Clients First Business Solutions on other platforms, those ads may be informed by cookies or tracking pixels placed during your visit. You may opt out of interest-based advertising through the links provided above for each platform, or through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at https://optout.networkadvertising.org, or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page at https://optout.aboutads.info.

Managing Cookies

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Since browsers differ, refer to your browser's Help menu for instructions. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on our site. Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, but we do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by applicable law (see Section 10).

6. How We Protect Your Information

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit via Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) technology.
  • Access controls limiting personal information to authorized personnel who require it to perform their job functions.
  • Regular malware scanning and security monitoring.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Disclosure and Service Providers

We do not sell or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share personal information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf to support our business operations — including the analytics, marketing automation, and advertising platforms described in Section 5 (HubSpot, Google, and LinkedIn). These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.

We may also disclose personal information: (a) to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities; (b) to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, clients, or others; or (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice of any change in data practices.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These sites have their own independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content or practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with legal obligations. Specific retention periods vary by data type and purpose. Contact and form submission data in our CRM is retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter. Analytics data retention periods are governed by the settings we have configured within each platform (typically 14 months for GA4 by default). You may request deletion of your personal information as described in Section 11.

10. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

The Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser-level signal that allows users to communicate their preference to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and targeted advertising. We are working to implement technical mechanisms to detect and honor GPC signals where required by applicable U.S. state law. Because some of our advertising and analytics tools may set cookies or fire tags that constitute 'sharing' personal data under certain state laws, we encourage users who wish to opt out to also use the platform-specific opt-out links provided in Section 5, and to review the browser-based opt-out tools referenced there, until our GPC implementation is fully verified.

11. Your Privacy Rights Under Applicable U.S. State Laws

Depending on your state of residence and the specific law that applies to our processing of your personal data, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Right to Know / Access: request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy.
  • Right to Correction: request that we correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Deletion: request that we delete personal data we have collected about you, subject to applicable exceptions.
  • Right to Data Portability: receive a copy of your personal data in a portable, readable format.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: we do not sell personal data. To the extent our use of advertising or analytics tools constitutes 'sharing' under applicable law, you may opt out using the mechanisms described in Section 5.
  • Right to Opt Out of Targeted Advertising: see the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 5.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To submit an access, correction, deletion, or portability request, please contact us using the information in Section 13. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days, with one 45-day extension where permitted).

Right to Appeal

If we decline to take action on your privacy rights request, you may appeal our decision by submitting a written appeal to us using the contact information in Section 16. We will review your appeal and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state's attorney general or applicable data protection authority.
